who it's for & how it works
Farms, CSAs, Co-ops, Buying Clubs, and Food Buyers will benefit from using this system. Buyers will be able to search for publicly visible farms and clubs and then sign up to join them. Some clubs choose to be private, and you may join them by invitation only.single farm or vendor
For Selling on-farm, at greenmarkets, through a CSA and/or on a delivery schedule. This is a common and simple setup for one farm or vendor. The myrealfoods online system displays who you are & what you sell, has a calendar based online shopping cart customized to your schedule, collects orders, allows posting of alerts & information, and provides printable invoices & reports.buying club working with one or more independent farms
This buyer club-centric model was first created for the NYC metro area where it has proved highly successful. This scenario allows for more control by the buyers/club. In addition to delivery scheduling and calendar based ordering, club managers can administer all aspects of their group including membership registration, posting news or information, dues payments, volunteering tracking, and uploading club contracts. We offer useful extra services for a nominal fee:
Bulk Email Sending
You will need this if you will send more than 100 emails per day. This could happen if you have more than 50 members/buyers and you email them all in one day. You can avoid bulk emailing if you wish, but keep in mind that emails are sent (according to your settings) when people sign up, place orders, receive reminders, etc. Our servers have hourly "free" email limits (to avoid blacklisting), so we must pass on the cost of emailing when we go above our server limits.
